Generally, there are two key processes to make instant coffee….

  • Spray drying – The extracted coffee is sprayed into hot air for quick dry and then grinds them to form a fine powder or cut into small pieces.
  • Freeze drying – The extracted coffee is frozen and then cut into small pieces then dried at low temperature in a vacuum.
